Several months ago I purchased a Wimius projector for my home theater. I’ve been extremely impressed with that product, so when I found myself in the market for a portable projector that I could use outdoors, or while traveling I was very excited to see that Wimius had just released such a unit. I’ve been testing the “Wimius Mini Projector with 5GWiFi and Bluetooth, WIMIUS 1080P Outdoor Projector, Portable Movie Projector” for the last several days, and I must say I’m very impressed. The projector came with everything needed to get started including cables and an easy-to-use remote control, along with a very detailed user manual (see picture which includes package contents). Within a few minutes, I was able to connect the projector and have it up and running. It was easy to connect the projector to my home WiFi, and it also had an HDMI and USB port I was able to connect my Amazon Firestick too (see pictures). It also had a very easy interface in which I was able to mirror the image on my iPhone through the projector using the Bluetooth capability.
Once I had everything connected I gave the projector a thorough test. Here is what impressed me about the projector:
1) Very quick and easy to set up. Was able to have it up and running within a few minutes without needing to crack open the instruction manual
2) Projected powers on very quickly, and full picture display is available within a few seconds of powering up
3) Easy to connect devices through HDMI, USB, or in the case of my iPhone, through the mirror function
4) Menu interface was easy to find my way around
5) Amazing clear HD picture which displays well even in lighted rooms
6) Adequate built-in speaker, but sound really blasted nicely once I connected to my Bluetooth speaker (in the sample video I played the sound through the built-in speaker just to give you an idea of sound. I had the sound at 50% level)
7) Was easy to connect the projector to my ceiling mount, and rotate the picture for upside-down use; although I only did this to test the ability. I want to keep the projector available for mobile use, rather than mounted use.
A few things to be aware of:
1) The unit does not have keystone adjustments, so the unit must be high enough (or low enough) to sit flat and project onto the screen. Was not an issue for my use, but wanted to point it out.
2) The remote does not come with batteries, so you’ll need to triple A (AAA) batteries to operate
3) Don’t lose the remote. The remote is necessary to operate the projector
Overall, I was very impressed with the projector; hence my 5-star rating. This is now the second Wimius projector I own, and I would not hesitate to recommend either of them to my friends and family.

Great project, great value, great size, easy set up

The P61-US from WIMIUS is a great small-sized projector that is easy to set and use especially if you have set up other devices before. I used it on my roof in the city. I cannot get total darkness, yet this projector provided a sharp vibrant image on my 100-inch screen. It has a mount to screw into a tripod, which is how I use it. It easily connected to my Roku by selecting the HDMI connection. The Bluetooth speaker was set up like any other device. However, I would not recommend using Bluetooth connection for speakers because there is always a lag no matter what projector you use. A wired connection using the earphone jack is the way to go. The built-in speaker is adequate if you are close by.
The instructions could be clearer as is the case with most Chinese-made products. It is set up like every other device so that experience will get you through setting this up with no problem. A case for this projector would also be very useful. My other WIMIUS projector has one that helps a lot and makes the product more attractive. The built-in handle is useful, but a protective case would be better. I transport it in its original box.
I recommend this product for its portability, quality, and ease of use at this price point.

I’ve tried out 5 different projectors on Amazon at a similar price, but this one beats them all.
Here’s why:
1. No lag when casting Movies/Videos through Android Cast or Miracast (built-in)
This is a dealbreaker for me because all the other projectors I tried would be laggy when playing back video content through the casting feature. This was annoying because you can’t enjoy any movie or videos like that because every 5 seconds the video would stutter and lag. So, I would be forced to either download the movie onto a USB flash drive and plug it in, or I would have to use an HDMI to Type-C cable, for me to watch the movie/video for a seamless experience.
I noticed this problem on all the other projectors that I’ve tried, but this one plays back the videos smoothly without any lag. Even 4K content on YouTube would stream butter smooth. I’m not sure what they are doing differently than other companies, but it just works. Also, when I connect it to my PC as a second monitor through Wi-Fi, there is very little delay. This is awesome! Finally, I don’t have to buy an extra Google Cast or Amazon Fire dongle to enjoy videos or movies smoothly.
2. Very Responsive UI system
This projector home screen is very simply laid out, and when using the remote it is very responsive. On other projectors that I’ve tried, it would always have a little delay, even when just changing simple settings. This unit seems to have solid build quality with no cheap parts inside.
3. The image quality is excellent
It says in the description this is a 1080p projector, and I can clearly say that it is. Not like a lot of other projectors that claim it is 1080p or even 4k, but the quality is not comparable at all. It has a native resolution of 1920×1080 which reflects the image quality. Even when I make the screen as big as the wall, you can barely see any pixels on the screen.
4. 2 HDMI and 2 USB Inputs (also headphone and video in)
Usually, most projectors only come with one input each, but this one has two. It can come in handy in certain situations, for example when connecting a PlayStation and computer, or DVD/Blu-ray player. Also, you can charge your phone with one of the USB inputs while plugging in a USB Flash drive to stream content to the projector.
I’m overall very impressed with this projector and will recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you Wimius for making great and affordable products!

Este es el tercer proyector chino que tengo y pruebo, lo utilizo como TV y para ver series y videos conectado a un Fire Stick. Es un proyector que cumple lo que promete, buena calidad de imagen, nítido y con buenos colores, tiene suficiente luminosidad como para poder ver bien una película sin estar en total oscuridad como muestro en el video, con la ventana un poco abierta se sigue viendo bien.
El menú es sencillo y se puede conectar el móvil y la tablet, por lo que combinado con aplicaciones en el móvil puedes ver retransmisiones deportivas, series, etc de forma muy cómoda. Los altavoces que trae de serie no están nada mal, tienen suficiente potencia para poder ver una película sin utilizar altavoces externos aunque con unos altavoces externos, incluso por bluetooth se puede conectar la experiencia mejora mucho.
Es un producto recomendable, calidad precio pocos proyectores pueden ofrecer lo que da y si te gusta disfrutar del cine o las series en una pantalla a lo grande le sacarás partido. Yo lo tengo colocado a unos 5 metros de la pared donde proyecto y el tamaño creo que rondará las 200 pulgadas, tapa casi toda la pared.
Yo hace tiempo que cambié la tv por el proyector para uso diario, si lo combinas con una android tv box o un fire stick puedes ponerle aplicaciones para ver la tdt gratuitamente además de todas las plataformas de series y películas.

Che meraviglia!
E’ da un pò di tempo che ho rivalutato positivamente i prodotti Wimius, avendo potuto fare diversi paragoni da amici con prodotti blasonati e costosi rispetto ah altre marche emergenti.
Ebbene Wimius, per quanto possiamo affermare con assoluta certezza si tratti di un marchio meno blasonato, si è difeso con i denti e con le unghie, conquistando il cuore di molti appassionati del settore, con il corretto compromesso del prezzo/qualità
Questo preciso modello l’ho visto a casa di un amico e me ne sono innamorato.
I colori e la saturazione sono un qualcosa di eccezionale.
Ho collegato una console con uscita hdmi da quattro soldi al e si è aperto un mondo fantastico.
Da amante del retrogaming giocare a 120 pollici è un’esperienza appagante.
Il prezzo chiaramente la fa da padrone, per avere un contrasto così alto ed una durata di lampada per migliaia di ore, devi spendere nettamente di più con altri prodotti.
La cosa che mi è particolarmente piaciuta è la correzione keystone, uns volta regolata, non sfoca ai bordi, grande difetto di questi apparecchi.
Il proiettore ha superato alla grande il test, se poi aggiungiamo la velocità con cui si connette al mio Samsung ostico al mirroring, una manciata di secondi ed era pronto per ruotare lo schermo e goderti youtube.
Insomma su 5 stelle gliene do 5 e 1/2.
Acquistate tranquilli perché non ve ne pentirete.

Der Wimus Mini-Beamer überrascht direkt bei der Lieferung mit seiner extrem handlichen, ja ich würde fast sagen kleinen kompakten Größe und seinem geringen Gewicht. Dieses kleine Paket sollte wirklich einen vollwertigen Beamer enthalten? Ich war sehr skeptisch.
Zum Lieferumfang des Wimus gehören das Gerät selbst, eine Fernbedienung, Anleitung, AV-Kabel, HDMI-Kabel, Netzstecker.
Der Beamer selbst hat mich extrem überrascht. Er ist wirklich extrem klein und wirkt eher wie ein stilvoller Vintage-Lautsprecher. Einzig die Linse vorne lässt seine wahre Funktion erahnen.
Das Design des Beamers gefällt mir wirklich sehr gut.
Ich bin ein absoluter Noob was technische Geräte angeht, dennoch habe ich es geschafft, den Beamer innerhalb von maximal 5 Minuten in Betrieb zu nehmen. Sobald man ihn anschaltet, wird man von der in meinen Augen sehr guten Software problemlos durch das Menü geleitet. Viel ist eh nicht zu machen, das Menü und und die Funktionen sind selbsterklärend.
Was mich extrem überrascht hat, waren die Schärfe und der Kontrast des Bildes. Es wirkte von überall aus alles wirklich gestochen scharf der Autofokus arbeitet ziemlich präzise.
Insgesamt bin ich extrem positiv von diesem kleinen Beamer überrascht. Er wird gerade in lauen Sommernächten sehr häufig für Outdoor-Kino zum Einsatz kommen und wir freuen uns schon riesig darauf. Einfach genial das kleine Ding.

Como siempre la entrega por parte de Amazon ha sido excelente y el paquete llegó en perfecto estado correctamente embalado y protegido.
El contenido del producto con todo lo necesario: Enchufe de corriente cable HDMI cable de audio RCA mando a distancia gamuza instrucciones y el proyector. Destacar el maletín que viene incluido ha sido una grata sorpresa ya que en los otros que hemos tenido no venia el maletín y nos resulta muy útil para poder transportarlo o almacenarlo de manera segura y organizada.
La interfaz del software del proyector muy amigable y estéticamente intuitiva y agradable con una rápida respuesta en la navegación.
Respecto a la calidad de proyección, muy muy buena, nos ha sorprendido la luminosidad ya que en condiciones de bastante luz se comporta perfectamente y con oscuridad total el brillo los contrastes y la nitidez son mas que buenos (las imágenes y videos de este comentario están realizados en una pared normal de casa, sin pantalla blanca ni nada por el estilo).
Tanto la conexión wifi como el bluetooth funcionan perfectamente destacando especialmente el manejo del volumen a través del mando del proyector una vez esta conectado con una altavoz externo. Las opciones de Miracast funcionan perfectamente y de manera fluida. Así como la conexión con los FireTV de Amazon.
En resumen, muy satisfechos con la compra, es un proyector con una excelente relación calidad-precio.
