For the most part, this device has a pretty decent size memory. It tries to give you all the USB options to plug into which include lightning, USB and type C. The one thing I will say is that although it is nice to have that adapter, it is not something I would want to carry with me just to plug into a type C port. I wish it had a better way to utilize the type c without the need or the adapter. The adapter also is something you can easily lose as it is not attached to the thumb driver. Regardless this is a nice space saver for iphones, android, or laptop. It gives a lot of extra storage in case you need to free up space. It is also a nice device to store videos on so you can watch them on your ipad or iphone while on the go without taking up space. This can be plugged into a mac but you do need to use the adapter. For PC, if it has the usb port, it has no problem detecting on it. THis will also work for android via type c adapter if you you use that. For iphone, it may take longer as lightning does not transfer very quickly. If you are using it with your PC, it will transfer pretty quick to and from the device. The type c is okay but you are using an adapter in order to transfer so it is not the best type c transfer speed. The one thing I like about this is that it gives a ton of space so I can take more pictures. This thumb drive is pretty decently built although the casing is a bit easy to scratch. There is a spot for a key ring but it is not provided. You are able to spin the usb out and back in with ease. Note that this will not spin to the lightning side if you have the type c adapter on it. Although be warned the spin joints can become really loose if you constantly always spin the thumb drive out. You may actually cause it to lose it’s friction spinning it too much and it’ll just flop around. I have no real fix for this other than do not constantly spin it when you do not need the thumb drive which I do a lot. The price is a bit high for a device like this considering the type c part is just an adapter. You are limited on speed because of that. It does require an app in order to transfer on an iphone so be aware of that. The same goes for some android devices as well. There is also a build in loop that you can use to attach it to a key chain or lanyard which is nice. Be aware that there will always be one plug exposed. There is no real cap or cover for both at once. The application is pretty user friendly but it can use some work in terms of stability. Overall this an okayflash drive to have if you happen to need to empty your phone or even transferring data between computers. I do think the price point is a bit high considering the type c is just an adapter. You are most likely not going to carry that adapter around with you and you do need to use it if you plug into the newer macs so I would honestly just avoid all this. I did verify the memory and it is a genuine 256 gb so it can store a good amount of pictures/video. Another issue I have is the that spinning mechanism wore out REALLY fast. Also that lightning port plug can be really slow.

This is a very useful memory stick. 256 GB is plenty of storage and the ability to plug it into computers, laptops, tablets, or iPhones is very convenient.
The gold-colored drive and the silver-colored the adapter are made of a lightweight and durable metal material. On one side is an iOS or “lightning” bit and on the other side is a normal USB bit that can connect to the provided adapter to make it a USB-C bit. The distance from one the end of the iOS bit to the end of the opposing USB bit is about 2.1 inches (5.3 cm) and the length from the angled end to the edge of the USB is about 2.38 inches (6.03 cm). The adapter length is about 1.1 inches (2.8 cm) long and when connected, the total length from the iOS bit to the USB-C bit is nearly 2.9 inches (7.4 cm).
The angled end is sharp enough to look stylish but not too sharp to accidentally cut things. It is very easy to add a clip, keyring, or thin rope to the end to make it easier to keep track of. It would be nice if a small rope or keychain were provided, but it’s not difficult to find something that will work.
An app is required for use on a phone. The provided instructions do a good enough job of explaining how to download the app and utilize the storage options. It is slightly inconvenient to download and figure out the app however it is free, which makes up for it a bit.

Overall, am happy with this memory stick and I would recommend it to somebody wanting one device to store or transport photos and information from a computer or phone.

I am very pleased with the Vackiit USB flash drive. When first plugging the flash drive into my iPhone, it prompted me to download the ‘iExpand’ app from the App Store. It directed me to the suggested app, and I did not have to search for it. Once downloaded and installed, the app asks for permission to access your photos whenever you plug the drive in. After confirmation, you can use the app to easily copy photos, videos, or contact lists from the phone onto the flash drive for transfer to another phone or to a computer. The Vackiit flash drive is well made, with a strong metal housing. Attached to the housing is a metal cage that can be rotated 180° to expose either of the two connectors, while surrounding and protecting the connector not in use. Included with the drive is a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
